For verification purposes, the site stores encrypted versions of a user's registration e-mail address and username - these are not published, and will not be passed-on to any third party. An exception is the 'Real name' which is displayed on page revisions to show who wrote the page [ so please use an anonymous one if you prefer not to be identified ] The site also maintains an internal hidden list of all page creations or edits, and can also log the originating IP addresses.
The site uses browser temporary cookies while in operation to store user preferences, login status etc etc. They are all automatically deleted at the end of the browser session. No persistent cookies of any kind are used or stored.
Important: The site is provided on a strictly 'as-is' basis, and cannot guarantee the preservation or accessibility of the content for all time. Authors should make a personal backup of their own material if in doubt.
Ideas for new topics, and suggested additions / corrections for old ones, are always welcome.
