(Right angle with downwards zigzag arrow) .a.k.a. the //Angzarr//, was included in an ISO [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicode|Unicode]] recommendation document in year 2000 - in the section 'Miscellaneous Technical'  ([[https://www.unicode.org/wg2/docs/n2191.pdf#page=26|ref.]]).

Its first recorded use appears to be from the 1970s as a [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monotype_typefaces|Monotype]] symbol <sup>[ ref. needed ]</sup>

Since 2002 it has been officially included as a Unicode character.

The meaning of the symbol seems to have been lost. Suggestions include the possibllity that it may have been an electrical symbol, a mathematical symbol, or a graph symbol &etc..
