Please note that in common with other publicly editable wikis, this website is not responsible for content posted by the public. Nevertheless, the ongoing editing process should be able to remove unsuitable content in a reasonable time. If you think that any material needs to be deleted, please contact the site.
All content should be original - please observe the 'No cut and paste' policy common to Wikipedia etc.
For a more detailed picture, see Wikipedia's Policies and Guidelines page - which Wikenigma will attempt to follow.
Important: Please don't post any content which isn't public domain or Creative Commons licensed. An exception is for short 'fair-use' quotes - which should be clearly identified as such with quotation marks,
“ like this ”
If you do create and post any content, please be aware that by doing so you are implicitly agreeing to its continued use with a CC Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International license.
For verification purposes, the site stores encrypted versions of a user's registration e-mail address and username - these are not published, and will not be passed-on to any third party. An exception is the 'Screen name' which is displayed on page revisions to show who wrote the page [ so please use an anonymous one if you prefer not to be identified ] The site also maintains an internal hidden list of all page creations or edits, and can also log the originating IP addresses.
The site uses cookies while in operation, but they are set to be deleted at the end of the browser session, unless you check the 'remember me' box at login, in which case a year-long cookie can be stored to facilitate future logins. If you find any exceptions to these settings, please let us know.
Important: The site is provided on a strictly 'as-is' basis, and cannot guarantee the preservation or accessibility of the content for all time. Authors should make a personal backup of their own material if in doubt.
